Mary McLeod Bethune School
NCNW Philadelphia Section provides activities and support services for our adopted Mary McLeod Bethune School in Philadelphia. We provide Good Health Wins literature and other resources during the school’s Back-to-School Block Party, and we proudly support their holiday Adopt-a-Family program.
Financial Empowerment Workshop
The financial empowerment workshop provides information in the areas of health, career, future goal setting, financial assistance, estate planning, and tangled deeds.
Scholarship
The NCNW Philadelphia Section Scholarship is open to Philadelphia County high school seniors who meet the following criteria:
- Official high school transcript
- G.P.A. 3.0 and above
- Applied to a four-year college
- 300-500 word essay re your educational & future goals
- 2 recommendation letters from non-relatives
- Portrait/photograph
- Interview
